Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Shapely 3D (the "App"), developed by Fabrizio Brancati (the "Developer", "we"), and the website shapely3d.com (the "Website") handle your information. The short version: your 3D models stay on your device, the App requires no account, and the small amount of data that is collected exists only to keep the App working well.

Your documents stay with you

Everything you create in Shapely 3D — scenes, objects, sketches, exports — is stored as documents on your device (and in your device backups, such as iCloud or Time Machine, if you have them enabled). We have no server that receives, stores, or can access your models. STL exports go only where you choose to send them.

No account, no personal profile

The App does not require registration and does not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal details.

Data collected automatically

The App uses two third-party services, each limited to a specific purpose:

• Firebase (Google LLC) — anonymous usage analytics (for example, which features are used) and crash reports (device model, OS version, and the technical state of the App at the time of a crash). This helps us find bugs and improve the App. See Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security.
• RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) — processes the "Shapely 3D Pro" in-app purchase and restores it across your devices. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase receipt data from Apple; it never sees your payment details, which are handled entirely by Apple. Neither we nor these services use your data for advertising, and we do not sell any data to anyone.

Purchases

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment information. Apple's handling of your data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

The Website

shapely3d.com is a static website. It uses Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service that collects anonymous, aggregated visit statistics (no personal data, no cross-site tracking). The support form on the Website does not upload anything: it simply opens a pre-filled message in your own email app, addressed to [email protected]. Your theme and language preferences are stored only in your browser. If you email us, we use your email address and message solely to respond to you.

Children

The App is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the European Union), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data concerning you. Since the App collects only anonymous data, there is usually nothing linked to your identity — but if you have any question or request, contact us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
